About this deal

To create a comprehensive comparison, we reviewed the switches based on 3 main categories: the pressing feeling, needs of the scene, and of course the sound on the environment. The switches are less high pitched compared to other popular clones, but still a little more compared to the MX Blue. The typing feel of the Gateron switches is very pleasant because the switches are much smoother and yet more tactile. Known for reliability with 50 million keystroke lifespan, Gateron is well accepted as a significantly smoother switch type.

Those who love the strong feedback and prefer a smooth and stiff feedback should look into Gateron Black switches. Other issue is that the keyswitch stem for the keycap is a lot looser than I would have liked on these. If you're in the market for the shorter key travel and actuation of a speed-style switch then give these a try, you won't be disappointed. With 10 years of switch manufacturing experience, the Gateron MX style SMD-LED compatible switch is known for its reliability with a 50 million keystroke lifespan for each switch. The Keyboard Company (UK) Ltd Registered office Hitchcock House, Hilltop Park, Devizes Road, Salisbury, SP3 4UF. We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others. The Gateron blues have a lower actuation force than Cherry blues, requiring less pressure when you press the keycaps.

Item: WS Silent Linear, Switch Type : Silent Linear, Top Housing Material: Nylon, Bottom Housing Material: Nylon, Stem Material: POM, Spring: 15mm/Single Stage , Total travel: 3.

The tactile bump comes a little too early in the travel leaving the switch with plenty of over-travel. For Gateron mass-produced switches, we recommend the KS-9 series because this series is adapted to the hot-swappable mechanical keyboard, easy for anyone to install and change, and also quite affordable. On the flip side, Gateron blues sound sharper and louder while the Cherry blues feel softer and more stable. After 10 years of unremitting efforts and continuous drilling, our keyboard switches enjoy a high reputation in the market and are recognized by a wide range of consumers. Since you don't have to use too much heavy force to type, the sound of typing will also be relatively low.

The primary difference between Gateron and Cherry switches is, the Gateron switches are much smoother, and bumps are more tactile. This 3-Pin switch combines a hollowed-out light position design with a transparent upper housing to provide compatibility for SMD-LED and RGB-LED lights. Gateron not only has greatly promoted the Cherry switches, but they’ve gained a good deal of market share in the keyboard switches business and has been well recognized for its smoothness and cost-effective value. If you're new to mechanical keyboards, and even the mini ones, consider this one as you've still got all the keys as a tenkeyless by using the function (fn) button(s).

What’s more, with a lifespan of up to 50 million keystrokes, Gateron Blue mechanical switches will survive even the most intensive gaming sessions. There's plenty of room inside for good airflow around components therefore I haven't felt the need to add to the two included case fans as the case design allows for good passive airflow. The design of the Gateron yellow switch is the same as the red switch, but the departure strength is 5g bigger, which seems small but does offer a difference in feeling. The switches were designed to be used with our Glorious Modular Mechanical keyboard, but can be used with other keyboards and DIY projects just fine.

If you compare Gateron and Cherry switches, you will probably find out Cherry is more resistant and feels stiffer when you’re using it. The KBP-V60GTR-C features dip-switches to customise your layout with additional key caps to match your preferred layout, a key puller to help swap your keycaps, and Gateron Blue switches. Similar to the blue switches, Cherry browns also require little bit pressure to trigger the keystroke.

Note: G Pro Silver switch adopts two-stage springs, The G Pro White switch(110 pcs) double-stage spring version and single-stage spring version shipped randomly.
